                                 CLASS EVALUATION

1) There are many things i like and enjoy about being in this class. some things i like is that we are able to use and understand programming and how that become a big deal of our daily life.

2) some things that i did not like about it is that we did not focus a lot on programming and encoding other peoples work. by this i mean that we didn't have any real life experience in order to prepare us more for what is ahead of us.

3) some recommendations i will suggest will be to focus more on programming software and as well as encoding them. also to focus more on real life cyber threads and help us create our own system.

4) the highlight of this class will be mostly when we learn about how the internet works. this is because i never realize that in order to open one website there a lot of things going n with our internet routers.

5) in my capabilities i believe i try my best on this class because i'm interest in creating software and able to know the threads of cyber attack in order to protect my self.

6) in order to qualify for college credits in this course i have to pass it with a c or higher . also try to improve my grade and never give up.

7) i had computers before and since then i had my life planning journal with me at all times, because i know that if you read them you have more chances to achieve them.

8) in order to be an arete' person will be hard but i'm working towards it, because i know that if you choose the right , there will be great things ahead of you.

                                     bionic eye

The entire system runs on a battery pack that's housed with the video processing unit. When the camera captures an image -- of, say, a tree -- the image is in the form of light and dark pixels. It sends this image to the video processor, which converts the tree-shaped pattern of pixels into a series of electrical pulses that represent "light" and "dark." The processor sends these pulses to a radio transmitter on the glasses, which then transmits the pulses in radio form to a receiver implanted underneath the subject's skin. The receiver is directly connected via a wire to the electrode array implanted at the back of the eye, and it sends the pulses down the wire.

this innovation could help people that are blind or not able to see correctly. this will improve someones lifestyle.

I believe this is a excellent innovation because there able to help people that are getting blind or already blind able to see at least 60% of the stuff around them.

                                                 Facebook
this innovation was made for college student to be more communicated with each other, but soon after they realize it could be meant for much greater things. mark zuckerberg started creating new protocols and code for the app called "the Facebook' to be created and be able to expand around the world so people could communicated with their love ones from anywhere.

this innovation will help everyone that have family far away from them and are not able to visit them.this internet innovation is another source of keeping in touch with your friends and share information one to another.
this innovation will solve the problem of never missing your love ones or friends that are not with you at the time. this innovation gives you an opportunity to show the people what your doing or places you been to as well as communicate with them .

i think this innovation have help a lot of people to keep in touch with family and friends . this innovation have expand over the world because a lot of people have move out the country and its hard for them to visit them , so now they have a new way to do so.

                                           wind turbine
wind turbine is a device that converts  the wind's kinetic energy  into electrical power.
this innovation will impacted everyone because today's source of energy are through the wind turbines or water turbines. there for if the wind turbine were to stop half of the world will be without power .
this device will solve millions of problem , more to people that live in the rural area because we wont be able to reach there . they have to create their own power source.
i think this innovation has help us be more economic because we will be spending less to have energy because it comes from air and air is not limited.

AGRICULTURAL DRONES

drones adorned with cameras to improve the treatment of their crops. The drones allow farmers a unique perspective that previously-used satellite imagery could not provide. They help to expose issues with irrigation treatment, soil variation, and distressed plants.

this innovation will impacted the people that dedicate to farming any type of crops because it will give them a better understanding from above.

this technology will solve a lot of crops that before were dieing to be alive today. thats because with this innovation farmers could get a better understanding image from, the drone to see if their crops are growing healthy and how they could improve it .

i think this innovation is smart because a lot of farmers have a big field that they have to be guarding and also farming on so they cant see all there crops at once . which will take days in order for farmers to see if they're crops are bad or good. this drone only gives a image from the air which before this was only capable in the army.

The Internet Giveaway

Attorneys general from four U.S. states have filed a lawsuit to stop the Obama administration from handing over control of the internet to an international governing body. The White House had planned to officially hand the reins of the internet address system over to a group of international stakeholders on October 1, but the states’ fears the move could be unconstitutional threatens to block one of Obama’s top tech initiatives. The attorneys general for Arizona, Oklahoma, Nevada and Texas all signed on to the lawsuit this week that argues the Obama plan to hand over control of the internet in an illegal transfer of U.S. government property, and any such giveaway would require congressional approval. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is a non-profit group that handles oversight of internet domain names. Since its creation in 1998, ICANN has been under the control of the U.S. Department of Commerce, but the Obama administration began plans in early 2014 to relinquish that control, with the process coming to completion Friday.ICANN is the authority that controls domain names for websites and individual IP addresses for internet users. Opponents of the transfer fear that it will lead to censorship of the internet, should countries with poor free speech records like Russia or China somehow gain control.
if obama were to pass this law it will mean that we are  giving outside countries a easier way to harm us through technology.

                                                      Roger Bannister
the excellence achieved by roger bannister was that he ran the mile in less then 4 minutes. which at that age was im[possible and still today they are less people capable of running it in less than 4 minutes. his time was 3:59.4 sec.

this excellence was achieved by training himself how to run and never giving up ,yet he was also a physician and doctor . which he had a short period of time to practice his run. but that didn't let his hope down, at his free time he will run until he was ready to run in the olympics.

technology would have impacted his arete experience if he would of ignore the world and be on his phone. but yet he did not, he put all electronics away and started training to complete his goal.

my reflection about this arete experience is tremendous because he though it wouldn't be done but yet he try and try until he accomplish his goals. everyone though he was crazy to run 1 mile in less then 4 minutes but he didnt let that bring him down. and after all he complete his goal.

                                             prosthetic eye

    this innovation consist of
  • oval, whitish outer shell finished to duplicate the white color of the other eye
  • round, central portion painted to look like the iris and pupil of the other eye.
  • and this could help improve the appearance  of a person who's eye were remove due to an injury or disease.

I believe this technology will impact everyone because know we know what technology is capable of. I believe this will impact our wounded soldiers that have been injury and lost an eye. this will improve every person self-stem knowing that now there's ways of improving the appearance if they lost an eye.

the problems that will solve are those patients that suffer from self-stem as well with an injury that cost them to lose the eye.
I think this innovation will help a lot of people but most important will improve there self-stem and appearance.

                                                                 false teeth
this innovation is made from human or animal teeth. this are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth. Modern dentures are most often fabricated in a commercial dental laboratory or by a denturist using a combination of tissue shaded powders polymethylmethacrylate acrylic (PMMA). These acrylics are available as heat cured or cold cured types. The process of fabricating a denture usually begins with an initial dental impression of the maxillary and mandibular ridges.

this will impact atheltes that had lost their teeth and also patients that are missing some of their tooth and are able to get them replaced.this will mostly impact every human little as 8 years old to 60+.

this device will solve a lot of problems for example peoples self-stem will be recover. Also mastication, which is the ability to improve chewing by replacing edentulous areas with denture teeth.

i think this innovation will help a lot of patients with low self stem due to lost of their teeth. i beliave this innovation is good because a lot of people now a days are losing their teeth due to much cabery or diseases.

                                      artificial heart

         * the innovation i will be researching will be the artificial heart which functions almost the same as the real heart by providing blood to pump through our body.

    * this innovation will impact people with heart failiar . mostly people that are waiting for a transplant  but if  not provided they could leave the artificial heart. which will function as the real one.

    * the problem that will solve are those patients that have heart disease or they need a transplant. this will hopefully reduced the death of love ones. this will also solve the problem of time running. this means that if a patient needs a transplant as soon as possible they could install the artificial heart mean while they find a real one.

i think this innovation will help thousands of people world wide. also i belive that with this technology less people will have to suffer from losing their love ones due to heart infection or disease.

Americans as they were typing there report they use that tool to hide the truth. Upon further information they were able to make a conclution that it wasnt what it seem . Electronic documents or any sort of tool thats used with computer coding are able to hide or even delete sensitive information that has been gather.

       u.s military drone

One of the first recoded usage of drones was 0n  Austrians in august 22,1849. They launched some 200 pilotless balloons mounted with bombs against the city of Venice. Less than two decades later in the U.S. Civil war.
    1.       Drones were invented to  provide war managers with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance in order to be successful in battle. Drones are airplanes that are control by remote to provide a smaller and yet hidden object to spy on the enemy without reviling its position.
    2) This is impacting the   U.S. national security strategy, which has switched from counterinsurgency in the city to counterterrorism from the skies. This drone provides surveillance .
    3) the problem that will solve will be the danger of our soldiers. With this drones there able to gather insurgents activity in the streets and warn our soldiers.

    4) I believe that this innovation is great because it will save a lot of lives  and also will eliminate the threats that our soldier can’t. for example there are drones that are able to disarm bombs without putting the people  in danger,
